(BTA), a premier and nationally respected consulting firm dedicated to assisting owners of closely held businesses with their business succession and liquidity planning objectives with sophisticated expertise in the education, analysis, valuation, design and implementation of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).

 

Dan has a wealth of experiences spanning many financial service disciplines including investments, insurance, executive benefits and numerous ESOP related specialties at MetLife Institutional and other major financial institutions. Since 1998, Dan has risen to a nationally recognized ESOP thought leader and featured speaker throughout the United States. Dan has authored and been featured in numerous financial publications such as Journal of Financial Service Professionals, Wealth Counsel Magazine, TD Ameritrade Institutional Advisor Solutions and Employee Benefit Advisor magazines.

 

Dan has recently been a featured speaker at NAIFA/FSP Annual Advanced Planning Center (2021) Forum 400 Annual Meeting (2022) and FSP Institute Annual Symposium (2023)

 

Dan holds a B.A. from Grove City College and has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant and Accredited Estate Planner designations from The American College. He is Past-President of the Society of Financial Service Professionals-Pittsburgh and Past-Chair of the Pittsburgh Business Ethics Awards. Dan is a member of the Pittsburgh Retirement Professionals, National Association of Estate Planning Councils, Penn-Northwest Development Corporation, Manufacturer and Business Association, The ESOP Association, The National Center for Employee Ownership, and Founding Member of the Pennsylvania Center for Employee Ownership.
