One of my favorite quotes is one from an 1854 lecture that French chemist Louis Pasteur gave at the University of Lille; "in the fields of observation, chance favors only the prepared mind."

Chance initially contributed to me completing my undergraduate studies many years ago at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, home of the JMU Dukes. I was fortunate to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a focus in quantitative finance.

What proceeded after that formative time was a 14-year immersion into the world of finance and investment banking, working as an analyst and trader. I had the opportunity to live and work across the globe, and in 2012, made the decision to partner with Edward Jones to serve individual investors, businesses and non-profit organization endowments.

I feel very grateful to be of service to individuals, families and companies that strive to achieve a better outcome for themselves, their loved ones and surrounding community. It is fulfilling to work with clients and help simplify their financial lives with a clear and consistent approach.

While I was born north of the Mason-Dixon line in the beautiful town of Ringwood, New Jersey, I married a local “Wilmingtonian", and I am proud to call this area my primary home.

My husband, Kurt, and I enjoy being outdoors, and a few years ago, made one of our “bucket list” dreams come true and summited Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa (19,341 ft!).

Locally, I am honored to serve on the board of trustees of Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., and have previously served on the board of trustees for The Wilmington Rotary Club. Nationally, I have the opportunity to support the great work of The Surfrider Foundation, World Central Kitchen, The National Park Service and the Glacier National Park Conservancy.

Outside of work, we enjoy being outdoors all-around, and love our rescue dogs!
