Alexa Broida is part of the Wilmington Trust Emerald Family Office & Advisory® team. Alexa helps individuals and families identify their philanthropic goals and develop an impactful, values-based strategic giving program. She facilitates workshops that utilize philanthropy to help educate and engage multi-generations. Alexa also assists family foundations and small nonprofits in board training, governance, and succession planning. Alexa holds a master’s degree in financial services from The American College of Financial Services, a master’s degree in organizational science and management from The George Washington University, and a bachelor’s degree in public health from the University of California at Los Angeles. She is also a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP ®). Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Alexa spent 15 years in the nonprofit sector, serving as the executive director of an international public charity, and the vice president at a private family foundation, responsible for overseeing strategic gift planning and distribution.
