Ryan Olson is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in San Francisco, California. Ryan works closely with high-net-worth individuals, multigenerational families, business owners, and private family offices to help optimize and manage their wealth efficiently. He takes a high-touch, consultative approach to helping his clients navigate the unique challenges of managing their wealth. He leads a team of Bank of America Private Bank specialists who work in concert to design and implement customized financial strategies in investment management, trust and estate planning services, business transition and liquidity event strategies, lending, and philanthropy. By identifying a client's primary goals and needs, Ryan and his team coordinate local resources and the national capabilities of the Bank of America enterprise to help clients reach their personal, financial, and business objectives.

Ryan’s extensive experience and perspective, including nearly 20 years dedicated to high- and ultra-affluent clients, afford him deep knowledge in providing an integrated suite of products and services. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2020, he served as Senior Private Banker at Wells Fargo’s Private Bank, helping give his experience and insight into the wealth management needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families.

Ryan is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) professional, awarded by the Exit Planning Institute, and is a member of the International Community of Certified Exit Planning Business Advisors.

A Nebraska native, Ryan earned a B.A. from Doane University outside Lincoln, Nebraska and an M.B.A. (with Honors) from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Ryan and his family live in Moraga. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, wine tasting, and golfing.
