DJ Mahler’s passion for investing began early in life. As a freshman in high school, he enrolled in a virtual stock market class that sparked a deep interest in financial planning. Seeking guidance to achieve his own financial goals, DJ met with a financial advisor who took the time to understand his aspirations and provide personalized advice. That experience inspired him to pursue a career in financial services, with a commitment to delivering the same level of care and expertise to his clients.

As a dedicated financial advisor, DJ prioritizes understanding each client’s unique goals before developing investment strategies. He collaborates closely with clients and their trusted professionals—including CPAs, attorneys, and other advisors—to craft comprehensive financial plans tailored to individual needs. Through a disciplined and proven process, DJ helps clients clarify what matters most, implement customized strategies, and stay on track toward achieving their long-term objectives.

DJ holds several industry-recognized credentials, including the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation, demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of financial planning.

As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor™ (CEPA), DJ is trained to guide business owners through the complexities of succession and transition planning. The designation, awarded by the Exit Planning Institute, emphasizes strategic planning, business value enhancement, and risk mitigation. By leveraging the Value Acceleration Methodology™, DJ helps owners prepare for successful exits that maximize company value and minimize disruption.

He also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC™) designation from the College for Financial Planning®, providing him with specialized expertise in retirement income planning, estate strategies, Social Security optimization, and healthcare considerations.

Additionally, DJ holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS®) designation, which enhances his ability to deliver personalized investment solutions and comprehensive wealth management strategies.

A graduate of Ball State University, DJ is deeply committed to serving his community. He volunteers as a firefighter and EMT and serves on the board of a local fire department. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and embracing life’s adventures.

DJ resides in Johnson county with his beautiful bride, Tori, and their two cats. He welcomes the opportunity to connect with clients over coffee or lunch to learn more about their financial goals and how he can help them achieve lasting success.
