Scott’s passion for helping others led him to pursue a career where he could have a direct impact on his client’s lives. He joined UBS in 2015 to focus on building multi-generational wealth plans for the practice. Scott enjoys taking a long-term view on planning that allows for a broad range of custom solutions and “outside the box” critical thinking – something that led him to earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®™ Certification. In addition to the CFP® mark, Scott achieved the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation – helping him better serve the needs of his Ultra High Net Worth Families. Scott quickly realized that entrepreneurs and owners of privately held businesses face unique challenges that often require specialized advice - skills that are underrepresented in the wealth planning community. This opportunity led him to obtain the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designation, which allows him to work with Business Owners as they navigate the challenges of starting, growing and ultimately transitioning a privately held business. As a CEPA®, Scott works with his business owner clients both pre- and post-sale to educate them on their options –along with the pros and cons of each. Scott excels at bringing together his client’s “Team” of attorneys, accountants, agents, bankers, trust officers and other advisors to collaborate behind the scenes. This allows his clients to focus their attention on other aspects of their lives with confidence – something that resonates deeply with his professional athlete clients.
