Patrick Cecil is a Wealth Management Advisor and CFP® certificant in the Irvine, CA office. He joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 2016 after coming from Academia where he was a History professor following completion of his Ph.D. at The University of Alabama. He has also received degrees from The George Washington University and the University of Colorado Boulder, which included time living and studying abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland. With this background in research and now as a CFP® professional, Patrick provides wealth management advice and long-term planning strategies for clients to help them achieve their financial and other personal goals for the road ahead. He lives in Orange County with his wife Ariana and is active in the Sons of the American Revolution, Orange Elks Lodge 1475, the Executives' Association of Orange County, his various alumni associations, and teaching the occasional night class in History at Chapman University. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to Ducks hockey and CU Buffs football games, and rooting on his beloved Liverpool FC.
