ABOUT TRAVIS
Travis is committed to helping clients pursue their financial goals with relentless execution, identifying pathways that put their values front and center. His focus on business owners and personal planning strategies brings clarity and helps clients process the hectic events that can transpire throughout their financial lives. Travis has assisted in the development of a group of professionals who have honed their individual skills to create a well-rounded machine capable of delivering holistic and tailored wealth plans.
Before committing to Raymond James in pursuit of sophisticated resources and a long history of providing client-first financial planning guidance, as well as a commitment to preserving the trust of the advisor-client relationship, Travis served as a sniper team leader in special operations from 2005-2009. He then continued his service in the army reserves until 2013. After completing his bachelor’s degree in corporate business finance, Travis served as a financial consultant with Thrivent Financial and as a founding partner of Pinnacle Wealth Management. He holds both Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) and Certified Long Term Planning Consultant™ designations.
Travis focuses on income planning, tax management and estate strategies. These three disciplines within the larger financial planning landscape serve as key foundational pillars that form the foundation of his client’s financial plans. He specializes in business exit planning, working alongside business owners to develop a transition strategy and timeline for sale or succession that aligns with their values and goals.
In his free time, Travis is deeply involved with his church, Lighthouse Pentecostal, in Wausau, Wisconsin. He serves on the board of Mercy Nepal Children’s Home in Kathmandu, Nepal, where he supports 10 orphaned children. In his spare time, he enjoys staying at his cabin in northern Wisconsin and working on his home in Wittenberg.
