ABOUT WILLIAM
Meet William Wersel:
I grew up in a small business family and always thought I would end up being a landscape architect, just like my father. That all changed in 2008, when my father sat me down and discouraged me from getting into the family business. One thing he did tell me though; was to find a career to help entrepreneurs like he and my grandfather. From that point on, I knew I wanted to be a Commercial Banker. With that in mind, I went to Bellarmine University in Louisville Kentucky and received a Major in Financing and a Minor in Accounting. After graduating in 2013, I moved back home to Cincinnati and have been in Commercial Banking ever since. At First Financial Bank, my primary focus is helping my clients build wealth and strengthen their business through consultative services and different forms of financing. My typical client is a privately owned business ($3-100mm in revenues) looking for an attentive financial partner to help make banking easy. Helping people is my passion and banking is my platform to do so. Product offerings include: Operating lines of credit, term loans to fund equipment purchases and acquisitions, owner occupied real estate loans, treasury management, SBA lending, ABL lending, foreign exchange services, and interest rate SWAPS. I currently reside in Madeira with my wife Kelly, son Grady, daughter Elwood and dog Riley. We’re expecting another child in July 2022. When I am not working or spending time with my family, you can find me doing anything outdoors, such as: running, hiking, landscaping, and boating. I am also actively involved with several organizations: Archbishop Moeller High School Alumni Board, Association for Corporate Growth YACG Board, Professional Leadership Network Mentorship Program and now CEPA’s Cincinnati Chapter.
