ABOUT BRIAN

As a financial advisor, my intention is to act as a financial guide for my clients — someone who understands their financial goals and helps empower them to achieve them. I am here to provide clarity and confidence to people who take their financial goals seriously and value professional advice.

My desire is that you feel understood, informed and in control while focusing our conversation on what matters most to you. I welcome the opportunity to work closely with your accountant, attorney and other professionals to determine the most appropriate financial strategy for your family. With the heart of a teacher, my goal is that you leave each meeting with a greater understanding of the principles behind managing finances.

Prior to joining Edward Jones in 2018, I received my doctorate degree and worked as a physical therapist for eight years, primarily providing home health services in Western Washington County. Growing up, I always had a passion for finances and desired a career where making a positive impact on people was a cornerstone. Making the transition from being a physical therapist to a financial advisor has allowed me to add value to families over generations, rather than just in the short term.

I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and enjoy keeping up to date with the most current investment and planning strategies. I hold the certification of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, or CFP®, to continue providing the highest level of service to my clients.

Originally from southeast Arkansas, I have lived in northwest Arkansas since 2010 and currently reside with my family in Farmington. I am married to my wife, Megan, and we have three children, Sage, Hattie and Crew. Our family enjoys visiting national parks, spending time with our community group and cheering on the Razorbacks.

Community involvement is essential for our family. I am honored to serve on the elder board for Fellowship Bible Church of NWA, am a member of the Prairie Grove Chamber of Commerce and enjoy volunteering in our local school district.

My team includes branch office administrators Eric Backstrom and Carrie Thompson.
