Based in Solana Beach, he works closely with high-net-worth families to simplify the financial complexities that arise. Coordinating and leveraging the Private Bank’s capabilities, he leads a team of specialists to develop and implement tailored strategies that incorporate trust and estate planning, investment management, structured credit lending, business sale planning, private banking, philanthropic desires and overall family office needs.Mr. Malardino has more than a decade’s worth of wealth banking experience. Prior to City National he was a vice president and private banker for Union Bank, and a regional private banker for Wells Fargo Bank.Mr. Malardino is a board member for the Sharp Healthcare Foundation.
