Michelle previously led Private Wealth distribution for John Hancock Investment Management, with responsibility for the expansion of alternative investment solutions and private wealth advisor-focused distribution efforts in the United States. Prior to this role, she was tapped to build the firm’s Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) distribution efforts, hiring and leading a team of RIA salespeople. Michelle began her career with the firm with the responsibility of building out exchange-traded fund (ETF) distribution across the United States, leading a team of ETF specialists and managing relationships with key ETF stakeholders at partner firms nationwide. Before joining John Hancock Investment Management, Michelle held ETF specialist and national accounts roles at both PIMCO and State Street Global Advisors, respectively. She began her career at UBS Financial Services as a recruit into their Graduate Talent Program. Michelle holds FINRA Series 7, 66 and 24 licenses, as well as the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), Certified ETF Advisor (CETF) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designations.

Since earning the Certified Exit Planned Advisor (CEPA) designation in March 2023, Michelle has not only worked with wealth advisors to educate on the benefits of working more closely with business owners, but has built a network Value Growth Advisors, M&A advisors, business brokers, and business advisors and coaches. Interestingly, Michelle has been married into a family business for nearly 20 years, affording her a unique perspective into the many dynamics of business ownership and entrepreneurial mindsets. She has been a featured speaker with Forbes, FA Magazine, and the Exit Planning Institute.
