ABOUT TINA
Meet Tina M. Alleguez, Esq.:
Tina M. Alleguez is fluent in both Spanish and English and her versatility is reflected in the significant successes that she has achieved in a wide variety of legal fields, including national and international business transactions, business and commercial litigation.
Despite a variety of practice areas, in her 30+ year career Tina has consistently represented clients with real estate holdings on a national level and has assisted them in reducing their claims, not only by providing risk management advice, but also by drafting their service/lease agreements in such a way as to reduce their exposure. When she was representing owners of commercial shopping centers and other commercial complexes, she led training seminars for managers, janitorial companies and security companies on issues of maintenance and safety.
In the last 20+ years, Tina has focused her practice on serving as outside general counsel for a wide array of business clients, ranging from sole proprietorships, corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships and has represented them at both state and federal trial levels, and in alternative dispute resolution forums. She advises her clients in a variety of transactional matters and business deals, including contract negotiations, acquisition or sale of a business; acquisition or sale of commercial real estate; joint ventures and strategic alliances; licensing and distribution of products; business entity formation; and also provides assistance with business operating problems (contract disputes, contract preparation and negotiation; lease negotiation, risk management analysis and assessment, corporate compliance, succession planning and dissolution).
Tina has been selected as Southern California’s Super Lawyers from 2016 through the present. She served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Business Network, a non-profit organization devoted to helping and educating Latino business owners located in the San Fernando Valley. From 2013 through 2021, she served as President of the Board of Directors of Multicultural Learning Center, a dual immersion (Spanish/English) charter school, K-8th grade, and currently serves on the Board of its foundation.
In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, working out at a rowing gym, traveling, playing and watching tennis, and cooking with her 16 year old daughter.
