Kathleen Pritchard has over 36 years of experience in the financial services industry and has spent the majority of her career providing advisors with innovative ways to look at their practice and client base. As the Director of Practice Management for John Hancock Investment Management, she is responsible for the strategy, creation, development and implementation of practice management programs that support relationship development and client engagement.
Previously, she was a Partner in Purpose Consulting Group and the founder of KP Consulting where she developed and delivered transformational practice management and marketing strategy for financial services firms. Prior to working as a consultant, Kathleen was a Managing Director for Legg Mason Global Asset Management where she founded and led Legg Mason’s award-winning, value-added offering, The Advisor Partnership Program (TAPP)®, and was the Global Spokesperson at industry conferences and events across the United States and the UK. She also consulted with top advisors and teams in all distribution channels on topics such as branding their practices, client acquisition strategies, building elite teams, leveraging social media, longevity planning, and connecting with the next generation.

She began her career as a Financial Advisor and has held various roles including Sales Management, Training, National Accounts and Marketing. Immediately prior to joining Legg Mason, she was at JPMorgan Asset Management where she held various marketing positions.
Kathleen holds the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) certification, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with The University of Chicago Booth School of Business; the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA)® designation from the Exit Planning Institute, the CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLAN COUNSELORSM (CRPC®) designation, a designation available to retirement professionals from the College for Financial Planning; the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designations from The American College, and the Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS®) designation from the Institute of Business and Finance.
She gives back to the community by serving on the Board of Directors for Aging in America. Kathleen is also a member of the Board of Advisors for Turing Technology Associates, Inc. and the Wealth Advisor Forum and Investment Advisor Forum conference committees for the Investments and Wealth Institute.
Kathleen resides in Loudon, TN with her husband Jeff and her golden retrievers Roxy and Wrigley. She has a passion for living her “Bucket List,” and is working on traveling to all 7 continents. In her spare time, and she enjoys spending time with family and friends, and outdoor adventures including boating, golfing, hiking and snowmobiling.
