What is the Exit Planning Summit?
The Exit Planning Summit, brought to you by the Exit Planning Institute, is the annual premier exit planning event, bringing in advisors from across the globe for three days of education, networking, and connection. Offering a variety of workshops, sessions, socials, and more, the Summit is the perfect opportunity to continue your journey to best-in-class. 
Who should attend?
Professional advisors looking to develop deep and meaningful relationships, advance their knowledge, and drive best practices. The Exit Planning Summit provides an exclusive opportunity to connect face-to-face with the exit planning community and tap into the vast thought leadership and influential power. 
When and Where is the Exit Planning Summit?
The 2027 Exit Planning Summit will take place at The Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center in Chula Vista, California, from May 2-4, 2027.
What if I can't attend this year?

The Exit Planning Institute will provide recaps of all the goings on on their website here. There are also ample opportunities to expand your exit planning education through the EPI Academy, and engage in networking via EPI's extensive Chapter Network. Keep an eye out for news about future Summits, so you can plan in advance! 

How do I register?
Can I register a group?

Can I transfer my reservation to another person?
Because of the specificity of the registration, this is currently not available. Please reach out to us if you have any questions via our Contact Us form.
What should I pack for the Exit Planning Summit?
Because the Exit Planning Summit is a professional yet fun event, feel free to bring business casual attire that you will be comfortable wearing all day. Springtime in Chula Vista is warm, so be sure to take the weather into consideration as you pack! View our packing list to check off everything you will need for your trip.

Is there a room block and is there a special group rate?

We will be reserving a special room block at the Gaylord Pacific for all Summit attendees. Check our Travel & Accommodations page for more details. 

What are our airport options?

The Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center is conveniently located just minutes from San Diego International Airport, making your arrival seamless and stress-free. Whether you’re traveling for a conference, a coastal getaway, or to experience the best of San Diego, the resort’s luxury accommodations and waterfront setting are just a short drive away. For those flying into the area, the nearest airport is:

San Diego International Airport (SAN) – Approx. 25 miles. Around a 30-minute drive.
