Sessions Overview
The Exit Planning Summit features an assortment of session types to fully immerse advisors in exit planning content from industry experts, partners, and thought leaders.
In twenty years of leading and managing people, I’ve had the fortunate distinction of never being given a resignation letter.
The session will attempt to emphasize understanding employee motivations through frequent communication and relationship-building. I will try to demonstrate how employee retention hinges on three factors: fair compensation, engaging work, and a positive work environment, with culture being the most complex but critical element to manage. Balancing these aspects creates a sustainable equilibrium that can prevent turnover, assuage retraining costs, and circumvent team upheaval.
The session will also cover the concept of “what got you here, wont get you there” and how the equilibrium model can be applied continuously to ensure that a single employee does not block the flow of your organizations growth. This will also prevent the creation of single points of failure that create exit challenges down the path.
