The Power of the Right Table: How Advisor Alignment Changes the Exit Experience

Business owner exits don’t fail because of a lack of expertise—they fail because the right advisors aren’t aligned at the right time.

The Women’s Symposium is a highly interactive, experience-driven session designed for advisors who want to elevate how they collaborate, communicate, and create better outcomes for business owners navigating transition or exit.

This year’s symposium features a 7-person expert panel, representing the full advisory team required for a successful business owner exit. Each panelist will share real-world insight on:

  • When they should ideally be introduced in the exit journey
  • How to collaborate effectively with other advisors at the table
  • Do’s and don’ts when working with business owners during transition
  • Red flags that signal misalignment, risk, or breakdowns in the process

Following the panel, participants will engage in small-group roundtable breakouts—each led by one of the seven advisors. You’ll choose four roundtables to rotate through, allowing for deeper, practical conversations, candid Q&A, and tactical learning directly from each discipline.

You’ll walk away with:

  • Meaningful, relationship-driven connections with fellow advisors
  • Practical handouts, checklists, and frameworks you can use immediately
  • Greater clarity on your role at the exit table—and how to add value sooner
  • A stronger, more aligned approach to serving business owners through transition

If you believe better exits start with better alignment, this is the table you want to be at.
