ABOUT LAURA

Laura Malone brings over 15 years of experience in philanthropic strategy and complex charitable giving, with a specialized focus on integrating charitable planning into business exit strategies. As a CEPA® and CAP® designee, Laura bridges the gap between personal legacy and enterprise value, helping owners and their advisory teams unlock the full potential of pre-sale gifting. At Charitable Solutions, LLC—an administrative services provider for Dechomai Foundation and Dechomai Asset Trust—Laura serves as one of the lead donor and advisor liaisons for non-cash gifts, including closely held business interests, real estate, and cryptocurrency. In 2025, Charitable Solutions facilitated 400+ charitable business exit donations that helped business owners fuel tax-advantaged philanthropy to numerous Donor Advised Funds, Community Foundations, Hospitals & Higher Education Institutions, as well as other amazing nonprofits.

Prior to Charitable Solutions, Laura led development efforts at Community Foundation Lorain County and served as Vice President of Corporate/Complex Giving at American Endowment Foundation, where she helped launch AEF’s internal complex assets team and made significant contributions to the organization’s first $1B+ growth. Laura is a past CEPA® faculty member and currently serves on the board of her local Rotary Club. She’s a frequent speaker on philanthropic integration in exit planning and enjoys life in Ohio with her husband and twin daughters.
